I used the boards of an old MS Sidewinder josytick to start seeing if I could retrofit instead of spending money on SimBoards.

 

The initial testing was very successful. 

 

I also mounted the throttle controls taken from the old Simhawk.  I continue to off pieces to allow for some addition angle sheet metal for testing.

 

I also recovered the sliding potentiometers from the old board.  Those are next to be mounted.

 

The pitch control for the yoke may be a bit of a challenge to get working right.
